Our Team: Marlene Oliver-Sosa
Marlene Oliver-Sosa is known for her strategic approach to communications and her results-oriented commitment to anticipating and fulfilling clients’ needs. Fluent in English and Spanish, Marlene is regularly interviewed and quoted by press internationally as media spokesperson for our clients. She has served as communications counsel to renowned companies including TraveLeaders, American Leisure Holdings, Coral Collection of Fine Hotels & Resorts, and World Travel Group Companies – planning and implementing strategic marketing communications programs, media relations, executive media training, employee communications, web copy, e-marketing and direct mail content development, and crisis communications. Marlene also held PR management posts on the corporate side for vacation exchange company, Interval International (now owned by IAC) and for Miami Seaquarium. Marlene received a B.S. in Communications from Florida International University in Miami, and also studied at Universidad Complutense de Madrid in Madrid, Spain and Scuola Lorenzo de Medici in Florence, Italy. Marlene has received numerous awards and acclaim throughout her career. She was named among Travel Agent Magazine’s top Rising Stars of the travel industry in 2003. She received her Accreditation in Public Relations (APR) in March of the same year.
