John T. Peters, CTIE
John T. Peters, CTIE, began his career at the age of 15, importing and breeding exotic tropical fish from Lake Malawi and Lake Tanganyika in Africa for sale in the USA.

John joined the family business in New York as Manager of Zeus Tours & Yacht Cruises in the early 1980's and worked his way through Fairleigh Dickinson University as a Business Management major.

During his career, John's innovative ideas and aggressive marketing plans contributed to the growth of the company to include ownership of hotels and yacht cruises in the Mediterranean and Caribbean and the opening of international offices in Athens, Rome and Buenos Aires, resulting in sales of over $50 million. Over the years, John held various positions with the Zeus Group of Companies and rose to the rank of President in 1995. In July of 1999, John sold the family business to FAR&WIDE Travel Corporation.
